TESTIMONIALS

Here are some Testimonials that have been emailed or sent to us and put
together from current and past clients of Wolf Creek Retrievers.

We took our 6-month old black lab, Kounty, to Wolf Creek Retrievers
with the hopes of creating a strong Labrador Hunting Retriever.
Kounty trained with Orie and the results were phenomenal.
After a short time, the obedience was solid and real training
began.
Kounty immediately responded to the training methods used
at Wolf Creek Retrievers. She quickly learned the force fetch,
hand signals, whistle, etc., which lead Kounty to competing
in field trials and earning the Hunting Retriever title.Wolf Creek Retrievers treated Kounty as if she were their
own family dog. She received first class care and attention
while on premises. I never worried about Kounty receiving
lots of love and attention, but also knew that she was receiving
the highest level of training and obedience.

I strongly recommend Wolf Creek Retrievers to anyone who had
a desire to take their dog to the next level. They will not
be disappointed with the results.

Orie,
I just wanted to take the time to write you
to thank you for the wonderful job you did with Buck and Sadie.
I know they were not easy. I just got done playing outside
in the mud with them and they are a joy to be around. They
still get wild from time to time, but they come on command
as well as sit and heel. What’s funny is that Sadie
actually listens better than Buck most times. Thanks for taking
two wild and crazy dogs and making them enjoyable family pets.
I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a trainer.

My Black Lab, Nugent, was delivered to Orie in October of 2010,
when he was 5 months old, for force fetch training. When we
picked up Nugent, you could immediately notice a difference
in him. Nugent is a typical Black Lab puppy, high energy and
very lovable. All of his high energy was now focused on something
to “fetch”.
I continued the marked retrieve process that
Orie began and was able to hunt with him during the 2010-2011
season. Nugent is very attentive in the blind and performed
several marked 30 yard retrieves and a few 60 yard retrieves
on shot ducks.
I am convinced that Orie’s professional training
made it possible to successful hunt with Nugent when he was
only 8 months old!

Orie,
Things have gone great with Bear, he is still
a little soft for my liking, as you mentioned but you did
a very good job with him. He is very steady, casts well, doubles
very well, I finally got the hang of handling, I have no complaints
on his training at all. Thanks so much for the work you did
with him.

Little Magnum, was sent to Orie when he was 6 months old. When we went
to see him, we went three times before we brought him home.
The owner would open the gate and out he would come and off
he would go, and no coming back. BUT he had the look we wanted,
block head, short compact, BUT, he had too much show and not
enough hunt in his papers.
Sent him off to Orie with no real hopes of
haveing a hot shot hunting dog, well parents always have hope.
Orie and Magnum went round and round, just a little hard headed
his way or no way, I mean Magnum and maybe Orie. Magnum is
now 5 years old and has picked up 725 ducks as of this season.
Also we board Magnum there when we go out of town. Terii, is like his second mom, we never worry about
him when we are out of town. We highly recommend Orie and
Teri for all your dogs needs training or just boarding.
