Wolf Creek Retrievers is a family atmosphere where your retriever will flourish! My name is Orie Mathews and I am the owner/lead trainer at Wolf Creek Retrievers. My wife, Teri and I have been married since September 2002 and she joined the business full time a few years ago working primarily as the obedience and young dog trainer. Our daughter, Kamdyn Orie was born in August 2008 and you can often find her training with us, feeding dogs in the kennels or her least favorite job, scooping poop. She has been around dogs her whole life and often refers to them as her brothers and sisters.

I have been around dogs and hunting most of my life except for the 6 years that I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. During my enlistment, I was without a dog for the first time in my life. Once my enlistment was over in February 2000, I brought home a 6 week old yellow Labrador retriever named Princess. She was crazy, boisterous and loved to retrieve and together we learned the ins and outs of hunting and training. Although Princess has passed over the rainbow bridge and many dogs have passed through the doors of Wolf Creek Retrievers, she and I had the original dream of what would one day become Wolf Creek Retrievers. And as they say…. “The rest is history”
